A standard low-ceilinged two bedroom apartment has been reworked to create an overall sense of openness and flexibility.  The cook's kitchen is carefully detailed in granite, stainless steel and cherry, with upper sandblasted glass panels to admit daylight to the bathroom beyond.  Bedrooms have been reconfigured to provide for flexible privacy needs, eliminate corridors, and create much larger, more sophisticated spaces.
